Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently updated its official fighter rankings to reflect the results of its UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV) mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which took place last Saturday night (March 5, 2016) inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Full results here.
As expected, featherweight champion Conor McGregor took a huge hit in the pound-for-pound field after he was submitted by lightweight contender Nate Diaz. Elsewhere in the rankings, Ronda Rousey was pushed down to No. 2 to make room for Holly Holm at No. 1, all because Miesha Tate is now the 135-pound champion.
That’s not all.
