UFC Vegas 28 injuries and medical suspensions were submitted to MixedMartialArts.com earlier this week for those athletes competing at the “Rozenstruik vs. Sakai” event last weekend (Sat., June 5, 2021) inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Not surprisingly, a fair share of combatants were handed mandatory timeouts, including heavyweight banger Ilir Latifi. “The Sledgehammer” could be out for the remainder of the year following a broken arm in his split-decision win over Tanner Boser.

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
