Conor McGregor has amassed a small fortune as the top star in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and continues to make headlines for some of his material purchases, like this Spanish villa or this fleet of super cars.
How much does he spend on his physical and mental well being?
Not a penny, at least until very recently. But “Notorious” is now budgeting for self-improvement after watching basketball icon, LeBron James, raise the level of his game with a wellness regimen that starts with the body and ends with the mind.
“In all honesty, I play the game and I train my body,” James told HoopJab (via MMA Junkie). “I put the work into my body to hope to inspire other athletes around the world – other great athletes. If I’m able to rub off on Conor and other athletes that feel like it’s beneficial to them, I think that’s a pretty cool thing. It’s humbling for one. I take my body very seriously.”
I guess the feeling is mutual.
McGregor will make his mixed martial arts (MMA) return in the UFC 246 pay-per-view (PPV) main event this Sat. night (Jan. 18, 2020) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, against longtime veteran Donald Cerrone in a five-round welterweight affair.
And to help improve his body, “Notorious” has already given up drinking, so I guess we must also assume he’s given up Russian beatdowns. We’ll soon see if McGregor 2.0 is good enough to wrangle “Cowboy” this weekend in “Sin City.”
