Triller Fight Club: “Askren vs. Paul” is set to air TONIGHT (Sat., Apr. 17, 2021) from inside Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta, Ga., streaming online via FITE.TV pay-per-view (PPV). In the main event, former Olympic wrestler and mixed martial arts (MMA) champion, Ben Askren, will crossover into the boxing ring for the first time opposite loudmouth YouTube celebrity Jake Paul. Also on the card, power punchers Regis Prograis and Ivan Redkach will throw down, and Frank Mir will make his own boxing debut opposite former champion Steve Cunningham.
The PPV live stream begins at 9 p.m. ET this evening, costing $49.99 (stream it here).

Round One: Paul opens the bout with some jabs. Askren lands a good overhand right. Body shots from Paul. Askren closes into the clinch, lands a body shot. Paul sticks a hard jab. Good left hook, followed by a right to the body. Huge overhand right from Paul puts Askren down HARD! Askren is back to his feet. The referee won’t let him continue however, and THIS FIGHT IS OVER!

Regis Prograis vs. Ivan Redkach
Round One: Redkach looked to land the jab early. Good body jab from the Ukranian then an upjab. Prograis scores a stiff jab of his own. Lots of missed jabs from both men. Redkach returns to the body with his jab. Prograis sticks the nose. Glancing left hand from Prograis. Double jab from Prograis.

Round Two: Both men work early with the jab. Prograis finds a right hook, then starts letting his left hand fly. Good right hook from Prograis. Uppercut from Prograis, who then starts digging into the mid-section. Good right from Redkach. Double jab from Prograis. Clean left hand counter from Prograis backs his man off. Redkach fires back! This fight is really heating up.

Round Three: Prograis with an early jab. Double jab backs Redkach up. Overhand from Prograis scores again, and Redkach clinches up. Prograis opens up, chasing with his left hand and scoring body shots. Hard counter right hook from Prograis. Redkach finds a left to the body.

Round Four: Prograis comes out firing his left hand. Jabs to the body. Good left hand over the top, followed by a much harder one. Redkach is hurt, but he recovers. Stiff jab from Prograis. Another overhand left from Prograis. He’s really honing in on that punch. 1-1-2 from Prograis. Redkach jabs the body, but he hasn’t landed anything significant enough to back Redkach off. Prograis stuns his foe with a right hook and lets the left hands fly.

Round Five: Prograis working the jab early. Redkach jabs back well. Right hook from Prograis. 1-2 to the body from Redkach. Stiffer 1-2 from Prograis. Jab-hook from Prograis. Prograis shows off his head movement, sticks a jab. Prograis steps into a big left hand before the bell. Slower round.

Round Six: Quick jab from Redkach. Right hook from Prograis, followed by a left. Big overhand from Prograis starts a flurry, and he lights up the mid-section. Prograis letting it rip from in-close. Right hook to the body sends Redkach to the canvas! It appears to be a legal punch from the replay, but the referee rules it a low blow. Redkach is rolling around on the ground, Aljamain Sterling-style. Chaos ensues! The fight is definitely over, but it’s going to take a moment to hear the final decision.

Steve Cunningham vs. Frank Mir
Round One: We are nearly two hours into the broadcast, and there has been six minutes of boxing, and no end in sight to the musical performances.
Finally, the two men are in the ring. Cunningham lands an early right to the body, flashes the jab. Mir glances with a right hook. Another right to the chest for Cunningham. Uppercut and overhand scores for Cunningham. Mir lands a good left. Mir eats another body shot, scores a left. Mir pushes his foe into the ropes, but Cunningham rolls his punches. Good body hook from Cunningham.

Round Two: Early jab from Cunningham. Cunningham takes an angle, lands a right. Cunningham jabs the body, Mir answers with a left. The two trade in the clinch. Jab-hook from Cunningham. Cunningham connects with a three-punch combo to the jaw. Biggest right yet scores for Cunningham, but Mir takes it. Cunningham scores a pair of body jabs then another huge right before the bell.

Round Three: Early jab from Cunningham, followed by a 1-2. Quick right from “USS.” The Triller camera is not focused on the fighters, so who knows what’s happening? Clean right from Cunningham, followed by a body shot and jab. Big 1-2 from Cunningham. Mir lands a good left from close distance. Nice 1-2 from Mir at the bell!

Round Four: Counter right from Cunningham. Cunningham puts together a combination, stings Mir with some lefts. Body shot, followed by an upjab for Cunningham. Lots of clinching between the two big men. Cunningham counters a Mir blitz. Good left from Mir, but Cunningham answers well. Mir lunges forward into a counter hook, lands some shots in the clinch.
