Kiefer Crosbie (4-0) and his opponent Orlando D’Ambrosio is (7-3). Crosbie has the red gloves and D’Ambrosio the blue, and D’Ambrosio has a two inch reach advantage at 72”. D’Ambrosio fights out of Italy and Crosbie out of Dublin, Ireland. Our referee in charge is Dan Miragliotta.
Round 1: Glove tap starts the contest. Crosbie opens with leg kicks and presses forward. He feels the range with his left hand then steps back as D’Ambrosio teases throwing a knee. D’Ambrosio circles on the outside and the two clinch into the fence. Crosbie gets a takedown to side control then stands up to kick at his legs. Two minutes remain. He backs away again and has to avoid D’Ambrosio’s upkicks. Miragliotta stands D’Ambrosio at 3:48. Crosbie and D’Ambrosio trade kicks. Spinning heel kick for Crosbie lands on the chin late in the round. 10-9 Crosbie.
