When it rains, it pours.
Some week’s there isn’t a ton to discuss. Others, like this one, are filled to the brim with all sorts of juicy topics.
First, we have news that Chael Sonnen will headline the first UFC on FOX Sports 1 card opposite Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua. It’s not the worst fight ever, although an odd choice for a headliner.
Then word came down UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson – fresh off of picking up his Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt – will be defending his UFC title against T.J. Grant at FC 164.
Oh, and who can forget there’s a UFC event this weekend, UFC on FUEL TV 10?
We’re not even mentioning Bellator’s signing of Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as well as Bubba Jenkins.
And I must mention Sunday’s Metamoris 2 event, which this site will be covering in detail on Sunday evening.
