If you’re reading this, it likely means you had a safe if not (hopefully) productive holiday. It also means that a day after Christmas you’re jonesing for a MMA fix. That tells me you and I both probably need help.

But wanting to satisfy the craving is understandable. Despite a card that originally looked better before injuries hurt it somewhat, the main event is still intact along with few other bouts of note. UFC 155, despite some of the challenges it faced getting to this point, is still a very decent, if emblematic, way to say goodbye to the year in mixed martial arts.

My rational head is telling me the champion in Junior dos Santos is going to repeat. My hope, however, is that Cain Velasquez gets his title back. It’d be good for the division to have a trilogy, if Velasquez can hold onto the title it’s going for the UFC’s effort to get into Mexico and would also allow for Daniel Cormier to move down to light heavyweight to potentially face Jon Jones.

Like I said, not a bad way to end the year with those stakes on the line, eh?

So join me today to discuss all of this and more. In terms of today’s chat, anything is up for discussion, but I will lead with this and it all kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.
