It’s that time!

Contender Series keeps rolling on for 10 straight weeks of mixed martial arts (MMA) action. Week five goes down tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, in front of UFC CEO, Dana White, as well as his cadre of matchmakers.

As has become standard for the program of late, all five winners earned UFC contracts last week.

In the main event this evening, Navajo Stirling (4-0) — a teammate of Israel Adesanya — takes on knockout artist, Phil Latu (6-1). The co-main sees high-level Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and heavy-handed Kody Steele (6-0) fighting Alex Pereira-conqueror, Quemuel Ottoni (12-3). The “Featured” bout has Yousri Belgaroui (7-3) returning for his second shot on Contender Series as he clashes with Japan’s Taiga Iwasaki (9-1). Two undefeated Bantamweight knockout artists — Otar Tanzilov (9-0) and Josias Musasa (7-0) — will throw down, and women’s Flyweights kickoff the card as Corinne Laframboise (8-4) fights Nicolle Caliari (7-2).
