*** HIGHLIGHTS! Watch Usyk Take Down Fury (Again) In Riyadh Right Here! ***

Heavyweight boxing … and it’s a big fight (literally)?

Indeed, an excellent rematch between the two absolute best Heavyweight boxers of their generation, Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury, collide in a rematch TONIGHT (Sat., Dec. 21, 2024) inside Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in an absolute classic from earlier this year (relive it here).

The face-punching action starts this morning at 11 a.m. ET, with the DAZN-streamed pay-per-view (PPV) main card (watch it here) kicking off in the early afternoon and finally the main event tentatively scheduled to start around 6 p.m. ET.

What more needs to be said about rounds 13 through a potential 24 for these two kingpins? Usyk is near the top of everyone’s pound-for-pound list, as he’s undefeated at both Cruiserweight and Heavyweight for his entire professional career. Fury was undefeated until he ran into Oleksandr this past May in a wildly-entertaining, 12-round affair just seven months ago.

Usyk held every boxing belt of import until IBF stripped him for not immediately facing Daniel Dubois (a very dumb decision, in the author’s eyes), but it’s hardly of any consequence, as the world realizes we’re seeing the two very best right now.

We’re here, we’re locked in, and there’s also a nice undercard with Heavyweight talent, as the promoters look to the future with folks like Moses Itauma and Johnny Fisher. The co-main was slated to be Serhii Bohachuk vs. Israil Madrimov, as Madrimov looked to bounce back after his loss to Terrence “Bud” Crawford, but he came down with bronchitis during training camp.

He’s now expected to show up on the “Beterbiev vs. Bivol 2” rematch card slated for Feb. 22, 2025. Instead, Bohachuk will take on Ishmael Davis in probably a much more favorable matchup for him.
