Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will take center stage today in “Sin City” for the final pre-fight press conference ahead of their blockbuster boxing pay-per-view (PPV) main event this Sat. night (Oct. 9, 2021) on ESPN+ inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, where “The Gypsy King” and “The Bronze Bomber” will collide for the WBC heavyweight strap.
The live stream kicks off at 5 p.m. ET in the embedded video above.
Fury is currently a -350 betting favorite against +250 for Wilder.
Wilder was soundly defeated in his rematch against Fury in early 2020, the second time the heavyweight titans went to war after first registering a split draw back in late 2018. Wilder claims he was drugged before their second fight and succumbed to loaded gloves from a cheating Fury, while “The Gypsy King” insists “The Bronze Bomber” is just an “idiot” who can’t accept defeat.
Veteran referee Russell Mora will be the third man inside the ring. Judges Tim Cheatham and Dave Moretti (Nevada) will score the action from ringside, along with New Jersey import Steve Weisfeld, a late replacement for Patricia Morse Jarman.
Elsewhere on the ESPN+ PPV main card, Robert Helenius and Adam Kownacki go to war in heavyweight action, not long after fellow big men Efe Ajagba and Frank Sanchez spend 12 rounds exchanging heavyweight leather.
