Hard hitting MMA action returns to the Rahway Rec Center in Rahway, New Jersey as Dead Serious MMA presents Dead Serious One on October 29 live on the GFL Combat Sports Network. Dead Serious MMA is planning to blow the roof off in Rahway by giving the fans a 14-bout card with a 3-fight tri-main event.
In the main event, Johnathan Pecnya (8-2) fights George Heerema (1-1) for the Dead Serious Lightweight Title. Pecnya is a fan favorite and this will be his third consecutive title fight, so he will definitely had the edge in experience. For Heerema, a relative unknown, he has shown grit and determination in his previous two fights and a willingness to never give up. He has a motor that never stops and he is hoping to wear out Pecnya in the championship rounds.
In another tri-main event, Greg Quarantello (5-1) fights Stephen Regman (4-2) in a battle for the Dead Serious Welterweight Title. Quarantello is on a three-fight win streak and looks to continue that momentum. With only one decision loss on his record and most of his wins coming via KO or submission, look for Quarantello to come out early and try to finish the fight. For Regman, who is coming off of a KO victory in his last fight in less than a minute is also a fast starter. Expect fireworks from these two gladiators as they decide who the first 170 lb Champion will be.
One more title is on the line and that is for the Dead Serious Featherweight Championship between RJ Starace (2-3) and Mark Agnew (3-1-1). Definitely two rising prospects and with the belt at stake, expect this fight to be in the running for “fight of the night” as both Starace and Agnew fight at a breakneck pace.
