Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is bringing mixed martial arts (MMA) fans its latest and greatest pay-per-view (PPV) event, UFC 240, TONIGHT (Sat., July 27, 2019) inside Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. UFC 240, which requires a subscription to ESPN+ to purchase, will be headlined by the five-round featherweight title fight pitting reigning division kingpin, Max Holloway, opposite former lightweight titleholder, Frankie Edgar, who once again tries to capture gold in the twilight of his combat sports career. In the UFC 240 co-headliner, former women’s featherweight champion, Cristiane Justino, looks to rebound from her knockout loss to Amanda Nunes by squashing division up-and-comer, Felicia Spencer, in what marks the final fight on “Cyborg’s” current UFC contract. They scramble and Price looks for a single-leg in return. Neal gets a body lock on the fence. They separate two minutes in. 1-2-2 from Neal. Price tries a combo, nearly lands a knee inside. Nasty counter left by Neal and he looks for a takedown. Two minutes to go.
Price defending against the fence. They exchange inside. Price dings him with a head kick, then clobbers Neal with a huge right hand that sends him to the mat. Price follows him down into guard. Neal kicks him off and stands after eating a right hand. Neal hits a takedown before the bell and looks for the back. Full mount. 10-9 Neal?
Round 2: On second viewing, it was a headbutt that dropped Neal. He definitely deserved the round, then.
Neal answers a low kick with a straight left and they start brawling. Price swinging like mad and he’s hurt Neal. He tries to pull guard on a guillotine, but Neal takes half guard. Now side control. One minute in. Price avoids a back take, regains guard. Neal postures up for some heavy ground-and-pound. Two minutes in. Big elbows. HUGE left hands and the ref doesn’t like the Price’s reaction, stepping in for the finish.

Choi gives up his back trying to stand, manages to avoid the second hook coming in. Tucker uses double underhooks for another takedown. Knee from Tucker two minutes in. Choi struggling against the cage. Tucker constantly attacking his base. Choi avoids a body lock takedown and lands a knee. Two minutes to go.

Round 1: Frota answers some kicks with a straight left. Robertson shoots, initially denied, keeps driving and completes a takedown against the fence. Frota with some hammerfists off of her back in guard. One minute in. Robertson maintaining shoulder pressure. Closed guard for Frota. Robertson nearly gets to half guard, but Frota inverts for a leg. More hammerfists, then a reverse triangle. Two minutes to go.
Frota loses it, tries to set it up again. Robertson gets an arm free and takes side control. Short elbows from Robertson open a cut above Frota’s left eye. One minute to go. Frota regains half guard, eats more elbows. She holds on until the bell. 10-9 Robertson.
Round 2: Frota stalking forward in a heavy stance. Robertson ducks a punch for a single-leg into half guard. A couple bits of ground-and-pound a minute in. Frota tries to use the cage, can’t do so but does set up a potential leglock. Hammerfists from the back by Frota. Robertson gets her leg out, sets up in guard. Robertson uses Frota’s rubber guard attempt to pass to side control. Frota regains half guard, looks for an arm triangle from her back. Robertson defends and passes to mount, dropping elbows. Brief armbar threat. Two minutes to go.
More short elbows. Staying patient with ground-and-pound. One minute to go. An elbow opens up a new cut and she pours it on until the ref steps in.

Round 1: Koch answers a low kick with a right hook, goes high and follows with a 1-2. Counter right hand from Stewart. Koch lands a right and puts Stewart on the fence. One minute in. Koch still keeping him on the fence. Stewart reverses and changes levels. Two minutes in. Koch reverses in turn, looks for a body lock takedown. They separate. Stewart throws 1-2, eats a body kick, looks for a double-leg. Two minutes to go.
Koch lands a right as they separate. Counter right from Stewart lands clean, leg kick behind it. Koch 1-2, eats a left hook. One minute to go. Stewart barrels in with a flurry, Koch gets underhooks and defends. They jockey for position. 10-9 Koch.
Round 2: Early combinations from Koch. Teep by Stewart, then a heavy right hand on the fence that Koch absorbs. Stewart ties up. Koch wraps up his neck, loses it a minute in and presses Stewart against the fence. Inside trip from Koch. Stewart gets back to his feet and they jockey for position again two minutes in. Outside trip this time from Koch, looks for the back. Stewart looks for a takedown and ends up on his back in side control. Two minutes to go.
Stewart avoids a back take and makes his way back to his feet with a minute to go. Koch can’t get another takedown. 10-9 Koch.
Round 3: Straight left and right hook land for Koch. Stewart lands a straight right and a knee as Koch ties up, then frames for another knee before separating. Koch straight left. Stewart stuffs another shot, gets put on the fence. Koch gets him to his seat. Stewart makes it back up just under two minutes in. Stuffs another shot, tries a head kick. He tries a double leg of his own and gets sprawled on. Koch looking for the back, can’t get it but has a rear waist lock. Inside trip gets Stewart down. Two minutes to go.
Koch in half guard, looking to set up an arm triangle. He passes to mount, lands an elbow after abandoning the choke. Back to half guard with a minute to go. Now mount again, briefly looks for the arm triangle again. Loses the RNC, lands a hard left hand. Full back control, heavy elbows. 10-9 Koch.
