We’ve purchased the ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) and with it our dynamic tag team duo, Matt Ryan and Harry Terjanian, will deliver the best possible ‘radio style’ play-by-play broadcast imaginable throughout UFC 259’s main card, starting at 10 p.m. ET in the video player below!

It is moving day …

For many people, the idea of moving is scary, especially when you have to itemize all of your possessions, accomplishments and essentially identity and go away from a place you tried to make comfortable.

That’s what Israel Adesanya is dealing with tonight (Sat., March 6, 2021) in the pay-per-view (PPV) main event of UFC 259, which takes place inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sure, “The Last Stylebender” is one of the most confident and cocky challengers for a title since Conor McGregor and Jon Jones walked into the room, but is he ready for the 205-pound Polish punching power of Light Heavyweight roost-ruler, Jan Blachowicz?

He walked onto the scale five pounds under the weight limit and eating a pizza … so he clearly feel ready. And if this was against a “Bones” or even Thiago Santos I’d advise his family to prepare for a lot of soul singing and flower bringing.

This feels different, though. This feels like Adesanya may reach rarefied air this evening, joining McGregor, Amanda Nunes, Henry Cejudo and Daniel Cormier as a simultaneous “double champ.” Blachowicz is a bad dude who could remove my spine cleanly from my body; however, the energy around this fight makes the current champion feel more like the underdog than the favorite.

We’ve seen this before when Francis Ngannou fought Stipe Miocic (who makes one hell of a coffee) and “The Predator” got clowned. So we may witness a bit of a shit show tonight or we may see the coronation of the “Anime King of the Octagon.

I’m excited to call this fight. Heck, I am excited to call all of these fights! And we’ll be bringing them to you loud, buzzed and live across the Combat Culture network so you can lean and rock with us all through the night.

Just be sure to bring boxes … because it’s motherf—ing moving day!
