Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) keeps the assembly line moving this TONIGHT (Sat., June 13, 2020) with UFC on ESPN 10, featuring a five-round flyweight headliner between Jessica Eye and Cynthia Calvillo, who collide inside the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Also getting their hands dirty on this weekend’s mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card are middleweight bruisers Karl Roberson and Marvin Vettori. In addition, Jordan Espinosa and Mark De La Rosa hook ‘em up at flyweight, while Andre Fili and Charles Jourdain throw down at 145 pounds. It may not be the most stacked lineup, but it should still prove to be a fun night of fights as we inch closer to the promotion’s month-long trip to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

Round 1: Surprisingly tentative start. Both looking for straight lefts. Jab lands for Vettori. 1-1-2 connects, met by a jab. One minute in. Roberson tries a head kick. Neither man really dictating the pace so far. Roberson tries a wheel kick and nearly wraps up the RNC while defending a takedown. Vettori escapes and drives through for his own takedown. On top in half guard against the fence. Vettori threatens a guillotine as Roberson stands and they scramble, ending with Vettori in the front headlock position. Two minutes to go.
Vettori wraps the guillotine up again and Roberson jumps off the fence to escape, ultimately landing in top position. Vettori quickly scrambles through for a takedown and unloads heavy ground-and-pound against the fence. Roberson leaves his neck out , back to eating shots. Round 1: Jab catches Rosa coming in and knocks him over. Another slip. Overhand left falls short, low kick connects. Aguilar looking to load up on the right a minute in. Rosa body kick, takes a right hand downstairs. Low kick form Rosa, right hand from Aguilar. 2-1 connects for the latter, combination from the former. Another 2-1 by Aguilar two minutes in. Fili head kick blocked a minute in. Both land right hands. Fili knocks Jourdain back with a head kick. Fili taunts after avoiding a head kick. Rapid exchange two minutes in, body kick from Fili. Low kick from Cifers, counter right lands. Big left hands from Agapova and a knee to the body behind it. Cifers puts her on the fence briefly. Agapova 1-2 and knees. 140 lbs.: Merab Dvalishvili vs. Gustavo Lopez
Round 1: Both men fire low kicks. Merab grabs a leg and kicks the other one out. Lopez back up, still attached to him. Dvalishvili takes an elbow and separates a minute in. Low kick from Dvalishvili, then a wild spinning back fist that glances off. Overhand right falls short, head kick appears to land behind it. Side kick to the midsection two minutes in. Lopez with an overhand right, lands a good cross inside but loses his balance throwing. Low kick from Dvalishvili. Lopez tries a combination, eats a lead right and gets dragged down form the rear waist lock. Warned for a fence grab. Dvalishvili drags him back down to his set, lands right hands as they stand. Lopez tries a kimura, eats a hammerfist, manages to stand. Dvalishvili low kick. Another takedown into full mount. Now the back, looking for the choke. Lopez escapes out the back door and eats a right on the exit. Another double-leg for Dvalshvili and Lopez threatens a guillotine, but gets tossed aside and down. Two minutes to go.

Round 1: Double counter lefts from Mazany and she shoots, denied with a knee. Avila responds by viciously blitzing Mazany across the cage until she covers up and the ref steps in.

125 lbs.: Tyson Nam vs. Zarrukh Adashev
Round 1: Adashev opens with a southpaw combination. He follows up with a naked low kick and gets knocked into the shadow realm with a counter right. Adashev is just awake enough to eat one more shot en route to the land of nod.
Final result: Nam def. Adashev by KO (punches)
170 lbs.: Christian Aguilera vs. Anthony Ivy
Round 1: Low kick lands for Ivy. Aguilera firing his jab. More low kicks from Ivy. Good 2-1 from Aguilera and Ivy staggers back, shelling up. Aguilera pours it on for the finish.
