Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to uncork its latest round of ESPN+ fights by way of the UFC Fight Night 152: “Dos Anjos vs. Lee” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for Sat., May 18, 2019 inside Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. As the name would suggest, this weekend’s big shebang will be headlined by the 170-pound showdown pitting former lightweight champion, Rafael dos Anjos, against fellow 155-pound import, Kevin Lee. In the UFC Fight Night 152 co-main event, once-beaten middleweight “Hurricane,” Ian Heinisch, looks to capture his fifth straight win opposite dangerous submission specialist, Antonio Carlos Junior, affectionately known as “Shoeface” in the combat sports community.

Carlos threatens a leglock, returns to guard. Heinisch gets to his feet, Carlos still attached against the fence. Heinisch tries a granby roll two minutes in and denies a back take. Rear waist lock for Carlos. Another roll, again Carlos stays attached. Two minutes to go.
Heinisch defending the takedown, but can’t separate. Carlos completes the double-leg and sprawls on Heinisch when the latter looks to get in on his hips. Heinisch makes it up, taken down again. Sacrifice throw from Spencer and she scrambles onto Anderson’s back. Both hooks in. Two minutes in. Specner flattens her out, starts dropping punches. She’s lost a hook. Still has control. Two minutes to go.
Spencer flattens her out once again and wraps up the RNC for the finish.

170 lbs.: Vicente Luque vs. Derrick Krantz
Round 1: Krantz comes out slugging, cracking Luque with an uppercut before looking for a double-leg. Luque latches onto a guillotine, loses it. Krantz looking for the back. Both hooks in a minute in. Working on the choke. He loses it, transitions to a guillotine as Luque takes top position. Two minutes in. He abandons it and they separate. Check hook by Luque, leg kick lands. Lead right cross. Two minutes to go.
Jab exchange. Glancing hook from Krantz. Straight right after taking a leg kick. 1-2 suddenly buckles Krantz’s legs and Luque sends him to his knees with a left hand, then pounds away for the finish.

Round 1: Both men focusing on kicks early. Knee inside from Oliveira. Lentz tries a head kick, lands a right hand. Oliveira tries a flying kick, eats a combo inside. Round 2: Oliveira marches in and Lentz takes him down. Oliveira wraps up a guillotine on the way down, patiently adjusts it. Lentz arguably taps, but survives and gets his head out. Butterfly guard. Oliveira lands an illegal upkick. They restart in Oliveira’s guard. Oliveira makes space and stands, Lentz still attached. They separate. Front kick by Oliveira, right shovel hook soon after. Round 1: Tentative start. Hubbard tossing out kicks. Cross counter from Ramos. One minute in. Simultaneous nut shot, wow. When they resume, Ramos lands a low kick and blocks a head kick. 1-2 lands for him. Hubbard with a front kick downstairs two minutes in. Hubbard answers a high kick with a combination. Ramos leg kick. Two minutes to go.
Hubbard with an uppercut to leg kick. Hard right cross comes back at him. Hubbard front kick met by a counter right. Heavy combination from the Brazilian. He takes a finger in the eye. Round 1: Eubanks shoots in for a double-leg about 20 seconds in. On top in half guard a minute in. Ladd trying to get to her knees, does so. Back to her feet, avoids a couple of slam attempts. Eubanks switches to a single-leg and finds herself caught in a guillotine. Ladd forces her to the ground, then looks for the back. Eubanks nearly sweeps into top position. Two minutes to go.
One hook in for Ladd, too low at the moment. Good control as Eubanks tries to move. Eubanks makes it back to her feet, dragged back down. Seatbelt grip for Ladd, one hook in. One minute to go. Eubanks prevents her from getting the other hook and stands. Ladd just misses with an elbow. They separate and Eubanks suddenly connects with some heavy punches before taking her down. 10-9 Ladd.
Round 2: Eubanks the busier puncher so far. Good body shot. Ladd swings her way in, pressed against the fence. One minute in. Jockeying for position, Ladd takes her down into side control. Ladd lands a few punches. She gets her forearm under Eubanks’ chin, but Eubanks manages to get half guard. Elbows from Ladd. One minute to go. Ladd threatens an americana, abandons it and starts dropping hard shots. She stands over Eubanks, kicks her leg, lands more shots. 10-9 Ladd.
Round 3: Ladd continues to pressure. Trading punches, Eubanks finds the mark with a left hook and uppercut. Ladd marching through this shots thus far, lands a hook and eats a right cross. Ladd 1-2. Round 1: Jourdain looking aggressive early, walks into a counter right. Another nice counter right and body kick a minute in. Jourdain tries to jump in with a knee and eats yet another counter right. Now a left hook from the Quebecois. Jourdain having issues with the range at the moment. Knee inside by Green. Two minutes in. Combination by Green. Nice body shots inside. Another long left by Green. Counter right from Jourdain, who gets closer with this flying knee. Green grabs a reactive body lock and takes Jourdain down into guard. Short punches. One minute to go. Round 2: After some quick exchanges, Green slips and Jourdain tries a guillotine, then a head kick attempt on the break. Combinations from Green a minute in. Jourdain with a nice leg kick. Round 3: Jourdain still coming on strong, eats uppercuts to the body. Green still landing counter rights, eating leg kicks. One minute in. 1-2 by Green, uppercut inside. Jourdain doubles up the right hand. Leg kick lands. Jourdain to the body. They trade rights in the center. Two minutes in. Overhand left lands for Jourdain. Body shots. Green answers with a knee downstairs. Green to the body, takes another leg kick. Combination lands for him. Two minutes to go.

Round 1: Pereira counters a leg kick with a nasty right hand, then considers a Showtime kick. Same counter again. Somersault kick attempt. One minute in. Good snap kick to the body. Pereira with some fancy moves. Roberts tries to step in and walks directly into a monstrous flying knee. He stumbles back and a straight right puts him to sleep.
Final result: Pereira def. Roberts by KO (flying knee and punch)
145 lbs.: Grant Dawson vs. Mike Trizano
Round 1: Trizano sending out punches early. Dawson shoots, gets pressed against the fence. He reverses position, lands a knee, is denied a takedown by a fence grab. One minute in. Dawson fishing for trips. Trizano separates. Jab exchange, low kick from Dawson. Head kick exchange. Trizano with a sharp leg kick behind the jab. Two minutes in. Knee by Dawson inside, hard jabs from Trizano. Dawson hits a single-leg against the fence, looks for the back as Trizano stands. Two minutes to go.
Dawson with a couple of knees inside, back to over-unders. They separate. Dawson tries cut kicks. Trizano landing some hard jabs, denies a takedown and puts Dawson on the fence with a minute to go. Knee and elbow from Dawson and an outside reap into side control. 10-9 Dawson?
Round 2: They trade body shots, more quality jabs by Trizano. Dawson wades after him with an overhand right. Trizano’s jab is dominating the standup engagements. Clinch in the center, bodylock takedown into mount from Dawson. One minute in. Dawson looking to move his mount up, takes the back. He has Trizano flattened out. Two minutes in. Still working on the choke, working his forearm under Trizano’s chin until he forces the tap. ESPN+ dies, comes back with Jourdain landing upstairs and eating body shots. Two minutes to go.

Round 1: Good jab and 1-2 land for Cummins. Herman lands his own jab. Cummins left hook. Cummins lands a counter right, then another on the break a minute in. Another overhand by Cummins, but he eats a stiff right cross in return. Cummins is dipping really low when he throws and Herman’s getting wise to it. Two minutes in. They trade right hands in the center. Herman counters a head kick attempts with a right hand. Cummins jab, Herman combination. Counter hook. Counter right off a Cummins leg kick. Cummins shoots, completes it. Two minutes to go.
Cummins stands over him and Herman kicks him away to stand. Cummins responds by knocking his mouthpiece out with a left hook. They trade and Herman blasts Cummins with a knee as they break from the clinch. “Durkin’s” legs are jelly and Herman polishes him off on the fence.

185 lbs.: Zak Cummings vs. Trevin Giles
Round 1: Lots of early handfighting from the open stances. 1-2 from Cummings. One minute in. Cummings grabs a wrist and tries to fire a left hand behind it. Low kick and jab from Giles. Two minutes in. Cummings looks for the body. Giles lands his first real punch, a right cross. Cummings comes back with a heavy body kick. Giles jumps to answer a low kick, not sure what he was trying. Two minutes to go.
Cummings slinging lefts, falling short. Giles with a couple of body shots, jab upstairs. One minute to go. Cummings trying to pressure and they clinch. Both look to hit the body. 10-9 Cummings.
Round 2: Giles looks for an early hook. Good straight right. Another. Cummings lands a leg kick, takes a 2-3 a minute in. Giles staying out of range at the moment. They trade in the center. Two minutes in. Cummings fakes a level change. Both swing big with their power hands, neither connects. Giles straight right. Cummings takes a shin to the nuts. Two minutes to go.
Giles finds the mark with a jab, Cummings with low kicks. They clinch up briefly, then separate with a minute to go. Cummings lands a leg kick. They clinch again and Cummings knees the body. He gets over-unders but can’t take Giles down against the fence. 10-9 Giles.
Round 3: Cummings goes back to the low kicks. Neither landing clean to the head. Cummings counter left, Giles left hook. Cummings answers an uppercut attempt with an overhand left. They’re sitting down on their punches now, though not connecting a ton. Straight left catches Giles retreating. Cummings with a flying kick and he shoots. Giles gets double unders and separates. Round 1: Erosa with some noncommittal kicks early on. One minute in. Nobody stepping in with anything significant yet. Good trade inside; left hook from Arce, knee from Erosa. Two minutes in. Erosa looks for a counter right. Low kick from Erosa and they exchange. Teep. Arce tries to throw against the fence. 2-3 by Erosa with two minutes to go.
Arce looking a bit more aggressive, takes a body shot. Erosa ties up against the fence. They separate. They trade punches inside. One minute to go. 1-2 from Arce, Erosa with some clinch uppercuts.
