Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is locked and loaded for UFC Vegas 30, which takes place this afternoon (Sat., June 26, 2021), streaming on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Headlining duties fall to Heavyweight hurters Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov, who collide for a spot in the 265-pound title chase. Shortly before that hard-hitting affair gets underway, fellow Heavyweight bruisers Tanner Boser and Ovince Saint Preux go to war for division bragging rights.

Round 1: Valiev light on his feet as always. Barcelos staying patient. One minute in. They trade body kicks. Good counter right from Barcelos. Stiff jab. Valiev ducks a right hand, lands a low kick. Two minutes in. Barcelos whiffs on an uppercut and puts him on the fence. They separate with two minutes to go.

Round 1: Means lands an early head kick, eats a flurry in the clinch. Great exchanges right off the bat. The next time they tie up, Means slings him to the mat and sets up in guard. Good pass to side control. One minute in. Short little slam by Means as Dalby holds onto him. Now Dalby scoots to the fence. Two minutes in. Trying to work his way up. Means punches his body a bit as he tries to use the fence to stand. Means with a knee to the body on the way up and they separate with two minutes to go.
Low kick from Means, lands a jab. Dalby leg kick. They trade knees as Dalby hauls him to the fence. They separate. Dalby really huffing and puffing but doesn’t seem tired. One minute to go. Nice body shot from Means, then a 1-2 behind it that drops Dalby. Dalby pops up and Means puts him on the fence. Big cut on Dalby’s right eyebrow. Means with a knee before they separate. Back to half guard. Full mount with most of the round to work. Two minutes in. Herbert manages to slip out and scoot to the fence, but gets mounted again. Good scramble back to his feet with two minutes to go.
Big right cross lands for Herbert. One minute to go. Good left hook. Nice double-leg from Moicano right into mount. He postures up for some harder punches. 10-9 Moicano.
Round 2: Moicano hits that same trip once again. Right back to mount. Good right hands a minute in. Herbert slips in a knee, regains half guard. Low mount. Herbert gets to his feet, Moicano still attached. Moicano puts in both hooks, can’t get the RNC, returns to mount two minutes in. Heavy pressure and the occasional punch. Two minutes to go.
Herbert making efforts to bridge, but can’t dislodge Moicano. Two good right hands by the Brazilian. Ultra-slick return to mount with a minute to go. Moicano lands an elbow, then appears to put Herbert out with a right hand for an instant. Moicano looking to pound him out, then transitions to the RNC for the finish.

Round 1: Marques shoots in the opening seconds, drags him down, and takes the back. Playing backpack with a full body triangle. One minute in. Landing hammerfists. Two minutes in. Marques still trying to wrap up a choke. Two minutes to go.
Nzechukwu hand fighting well so far. One minute to go. Not enough damage for a 10-8. 10-9 Marques.

Round 1: Low kicks from Prazeres to start. Hard left hook lands for him. One minute in. Double jab lands for Rakhmonov. Prazeres changes levels and takes him to the fence. Nice outside trip from Rakhmonov puts him on top in guard two minutes in. Short punhces from Rakhmonov. Two minutes to go.
Prazeres looks to wriggle free, eats some heavy right hands before spinning to his knees. Rakhmonov grabs a front headlock and puts him on the fence. Good knees to the body. One minute to go. Rakhmonov uses a whizzer to deny a takedown. Another knee lands for him. 10-9 Rakhmonov.
Round 2: Rakhmonov lands a jab, tries to spin. Overhand right from Prazeres bounces off. Rakhmonov wheel kick just glances off, counter knee apparently doesn’t as he counters a takedown. He stands over Prazeres and drops some murderous right hands. Back to standard top position. After some attempts to pass, he takes Prazeres’ back and wraps up the RNC for the finish.

170 lbs.: Warlley Alves vs. Jeremiah Wells
Round 1: Wells comes out swinging and lands on top in guard when Alves slips. Pinning Alves’ hand behind his back. One minute in. Hard right hands from Wells. Elbows as well. Standing over Alves, who pops up and eats a couple punches as Wells puts him on the fence. Wells tries a high-amplitude takedown from the body lock, can’t get it. They separate. Low kick from Alves. Wells swinging wild. Two minutes to go.
Alves lands a body kick. Wells catches the next one and puts Alves on the fence. One minute to go. Wells changes levels and Alves jumps on a guillotine. Wells escapes, ends up on his back. 10-9 Wells.
Round 2: Wells lands a stiff jab and a right hand soon after. A big right hand catches Alves throwing a kick and sends him to the mat. Wells jumps on him and goes berserk with punches to put him out.

Round 1: Parchnio landing leg kicks to start. 3-2 from Villanueva, hurts Prachnio with a right hand. Hard exchange. Left hook by Villanueva. Prachnio body shot, Villanueva knee. Prachnio tries a head kick a minute in, lands a right hand behind it. Prachnio swinging every time Villanueva gets close. Nice wheel kick attempt form the Pole. Trading on the fence. Two minutes in. Round 3: Check hook lands for Rosa as Jaynes tries to burst in. Well-timed single-leg from Rosa into side control. Looking for an arm triangle a minute in. Loses it. North-south choke attempt. Two minutes in. Jaynes spins to his knees and stands, then goes back to hurling haymakers. brutal left hook hurts Rosa and Jaynes follows with a right hand. Body kick from Rosa. Medeiros throwing with him but getting demolished. One minute in. 2-1 from Medeiros after things slow down. More Hadzovic combos. Hard left hands inside. Hadzovic takes him ot the fence. Medeiros grabs a rear waist lock and drags him to the mat, taking his back in the process. Two minutes in. Medeiros hunting the RNC. Hadzovic manages to slip free and look for his own back take. Back to the feet with two minutes to go.
Medeiros trips him down into half guard and drops some hard elbows. Full mount. Brief RNC attempt, back to side control. Hadzeovic tries to scramble up and gives up his back again with a minute to go. Another near-miss on the no-hook RNC. He finally gets it locked up with 10 seconds to go, but Hadzovic’s handfighting lets him survive. 10-9 Medeiros.
