Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just over 24 hours away from its UFC Vegas 8 mixed martial arts (MMA) event inside APEX facility this Sat. night (Aug. 29, 2020) in Las Vegas, Nevada, headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between grizzled veteran Anthony Smith and rising prospect Aleksandar Rakic.
Before the action gets underway this weekend in “Sin City,” which also features a co-main event between former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and longtime 170-pound veteran Neil Magny, all 22 fighters must hit the scale and prove themselves worthy.
The UFC Vegas 8 weigh ins will stream LIVE in the embedded video player above beginning at Noon ET (9 a.m. PT). We’ll also have real-time text updates for the “Smith vs. Rakic” event in the post below. Staredowns for the entire card will follow shortly after the scale-tipping festivities conclude, but expect to see them in the 2 p.m. ET range (or later).
