Check out what happens on the scales ahead of UFC Vegas 9: Overeem vs. Sakai.

UFC Vegas 9 kicks off tomorrow night from inside the UFC’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, NV. Like nearly a dozen shows that went before it, this offering will again be using the small cage and no fans (thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic).

Headlining this event is a heavyweight clash between former title challenger Alistair Overeem and Augusto Sakai. With the main event being heavyweights, no need to sweat about the MMA Gods playing tricks on the scales—Overeem might even turn up wearing jeans.

However, the rest of the card could face substantial shuffling due to weigh-cut and/or coronavirus drama. If everything else stays intact we’ll see Ovince Saint Preux vs. Alonzo Menifield in the co-main as well as Michel Pereira vs. Zelim Imadaev and Brian Kelleher vs. Kevin Natividad.

Check out the video of the weigh-ins below with video via MMA Junkie.

There will be no ceremonial weigh-ins for this event.
