Ali Abdelaziz believes Kamaru Usman will make an example of Colby Covington at UFC 245.

Both men are fairly evenly matched in skill, but MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz is convinced UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman is in a league of his own and will put a thorough beating on Colby Covington in their highly anticipated UFC 245 main event on Dec. 14.

Speaking to MMA Junkie in a recent interview, Abdelaziz said ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ will strike fear into the rest of the welterweight division when Usman makes an example out of Covington on fight night.

“I guarantee you Dec. 14, Usman is going to make an example out of him,” he said. “And he’s going to put fear into the rest of the division.”

Abdelaziz, who has roughly 200,000-plus more Instagram followers than Covington, went on to state that the former interim welterweight champion is trying to divide America by inciting hatred over his pro-Donald Trump comments.

“I’m not going to give this guy more of my time because he have a problem in his hands,” Abdelaziz said. “He have a Nigerian nightmare in his hands. They can promote this fight. The reason he’s using my name, I got more Instagram followers than he does. I’m sorry, I do. All he does is try to separate this great, beautiful country. Americans, they don’t do that.

“If you want to talk bad about me, go ahead. I’m not going to get mad anymore. If I see you again, I’m not going to swing at you because he’s going to do two things: He’s not going to hit back, and he’s going to call the cops. I’m in a lose-lose situation.”

UFC 245, which is expected to feature Usman vs. Covington as the main event, takes place later this year, December 14 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
