“Magic” Marlon wants a big fight next against a fellow bantamweight contender.

UFC bantamweight contender Marlon Moraes is without a fight at the moment, and he’s not happy about it.

Despite winning a split decision over Jose Aldo, it’s Aldo who is getting the next crack at the vacant belt against Petr Yan. The former title challenger seemingly won his way out of a title shot, if such a thing exists.

As Moraes waits for Aldo (whom he defeated) and Yan (whom he was supposed to fight before the COVID-19 shutdown) to decide the next 135 lbs champion, he’s opted to call out a pair of former champions on social media. On his Instagram page, the Brazilian turned his attention to Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt.

“I’m not the best making excuses!” Moraes wrote. “I was taught to say yes for every challenge. Get the F.. in the Ring and Fight. Enough is enough thats names available and they all saying No. what’s up? @cody_nolove fastest hands in all roster etc etc why No ??? @dominickcruz best bantamweight all the time etc etc why no???”

Much like Moraes, Dominick Cruz lost his title bout vs. Henry Cejudo by TKO. Cruz relinquished his belt to Garbrandt back in 2016 and returned straight into an unsuccessful attempt to win the belt back. As for Garbrandt, he lost twice to T.J. Dillashaw, then suffered a brutal KO to Pedro Munhoz last year. He returned to action last month and won by spectacular KO against Raphael Assuncao.
