Undefeated Iranian heavyweight Masoud Ranjbar will return to the cage on Saturday night (local time) to face England’s Jamie Sloane in the main event of Full Metal Dojo: “The 37th Chamber.”
It will be FMD’s fourth card of the year and is taking place at the Insanity Nightclub in Bangkok. Ranjbar (2-0) has already fought twice for Thailand’s premier mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion and is being touted as a future heavyweight champion.
The Iranian is taking a significant step up in terms of opposition because Sloane (6-2) has fought for renowned British organization BAMMA. The Englishman has been a professional for four years and this fight has been in the making for the better part of a year.
The card also features Brazilian middleweight Marcelo Tenorio (3-2), who will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of a recent stoppage loss at the hands of Vuyisile Colossa when he faces Egyptian Ibrahim Eid (0-2).
