It’s been a wild 24 hours for those of us living in the United States thanks to a tightly-contested presidential election between Republican Donald Trump, who is fighting tooth and nail for another four years, and Democratic challenger Joe Biden.
As of this writing it’s still anyone’s game, thanks to late reporting from the west coast and a boatload of mail-in ballots that have yet to be counted. Experts predict that we could be without a winner for another few days.
And that’s before we event discuss the recounts.
UFC President Dana White has been a vocal supporter of the Trump administration, but he’s not alone. Top welterweights Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington have both voted to re-elect the embattled real estate mogul, as did featherweight “Carny” Nik Lentz.

They are not going to let them steal the election. Everyone knew this was coming for months.
The people don’t want Joe Biden.
They don’t want lockdowns.
They don’t want the police defunded.
People are not falling for it anymore. Relax. It’s all good.

New Zealand’s Israel Adesanya can’t vote, but the middleweight champion seems to be enjoying the drama, just like former 185-pound titleholder Chris Weidman. Heck, even welterweight “Maverick” Michael Chiesa is chiming in with his election jokes.

“Last night I was leading, often solidly, in many key states, in almost all instances Democrat run and controlled,” Trump wrote on social media. “Then, one by one, they started to magically disappear as surprise ballot dumps were counted. VERY STRANGE, and the ‘pollsters’ got it completely and historically wrong!”
The current tally of electoral votes varies depending on the media outlet.
“It’s not my place or Donald Trump’s place to declare the winner of this election. It’s the voters’ place,” Biden said. “We feel good about where we are. We believe we are on track to win this election.”
Hopefully, we’ll have some definitive answers by the end of the week.
