Jorge Masvidal wants a chat with the elderly man Conor McGregor was seen punching in a viral video that surfaced on Thursday.
Conor McGregor is once again in the headlines, but for all the wrong reasons. On Thursday, a video of him punching a man in a Dublin bar surfaced. The alleged reason was because the elderly civilian refused to have a glass of McGregor’s Proper Twelve Whiskey.
The said incident reportedly happened back in April, around the time when “The Notorious” was embroiled in other legal troubles. Now that it’s come to light, the combat sports world has mixed reactions to it.
Jorge Masvidal, for one, wants a chat with the old man and buy him a drink.
Somebody get me in contact with the old man. He deserves a real shot of whiskey instead of that trash the little guy was trying to force him to drink #supernecessary @JohnnieWalkerUS https://t.co/LJlm02EBHw

UFC president Dana White says he became aware of the incident as soon as it happened.
“That happened in April. I knew that happened, they just got the video. It’s pretty bad. Not allegedly, it’s pretty clear [it’s him].”
“The incident in New York cost him millions. Millions he had to pay out. He had to pay the guy with the phone. What’s he going to pay this guy that he hit in the bar? The list just goes on and on. I just don’t know when he wakes up and says ‘I’ve got to stop doing this.’”
McGregor has yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
