Four-division boxing champion, Canelo Alvarez, recently put ice on Jorge Masvidal’s quest to take him in in a boxing match. Not for a lack of respect, either, Alvarez simply feels it won’t be much of a challenge seeing as how he’s been boxing his whole life.

Masvidal, though, will be quick to tell — and show — you that he’s been fighting his whole life. And while he may not have a professional boxing match to his name, he still has dangerous hands.

“Gamebred” took to social media seemingly in response to Canelo’s snub showing off his skills on the speed bag with a simple caption that read, “Not a boxer. A Fighter.”

Masvidal called for a showdown against Alvarez following his win over Nate Diaz at UFC 244, saying that he was more than capable of “shocking the world.” While that’s not a fight that will happen next, Jorge has several options moving forward in his own combat lane.

Chief among them could be a Welterweight title fight against the winner of the upcoming championship showdown between division king, Kamaru Usman, and No. 1 contender, Colby Covington.

Also, it seems steam is picking up for a potential showdown against Nate’s older brother, Nick Diaz, who, by the way, is also pretty good on the speed bag himself.
