Jorge Masvidal tore up his former friend Colby Covington in a series of tweets while also revealing where the “Chaos” persona likely came from.
From best buddies and training partners to enemies, Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington’s personal relationship has gone sour. These days, the two fighters have nothing but tirades to throw at each other.
During the recent UFC Q&A fighter panel ahead of UFC 245, Covington once again put Masvidal on blast, as he now says they would likely cross paths next.
“As the people’s champion, I’d like to ask the people who they’d like to see me fight next,” he said. “Should it be journeyman Jorge Masvidal? Should it be GSP? Should it be (Khabib Nurmagomedov) ‘Kabob?’
“Looks like it’s going to be ‘Street Judas; Journeyman Jorge.’”
“Gamebred” was never a fan of Covington’s schtick from the get-go, which eventually led to their falling out. While not dropping any names, the “BMF” champion thought it would be fitting to remind “Chaos” about their past through a series of tweets.

Masvidal also went on to reveal where Covington’s persona likely came from.
