After Gunnar Nelson was injured and forced out of his scheduled Welterweight showdown against Neil Magny at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 130 event on May 27 from Liverpool, England, Jorge Masvidal offered his services to face Neil at a catchweight bout of 180 pounds.
Unfortunately, Magny wasn’t having it, much to the chagrin of “Gamebred.”
It’s not #fakenews when you are exposed for the ho that you are. If it’s fake news then accept the fight sissy you are #easymoney even with no camp pic.twitter.com/dgZliIQA82

According to Jorge, that is now the third time Neil has turned down a chance to fight him, which only leads him to one conclusion.
“Magny has said no two times in the past, this one here will be a third time. The other two times was at 170 pounds. So maybe he can say that he’s a professional and he stays ready, but he’s such a fucking square, saying that 180 was…whatever he just didn’t want to do it. Mind you, I was a 155’r three years ago,” declared Masivdal during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour.
Jorge then revealed injuries have prevented him from staying close to 170 pounds, which is why he offered to fight at 180 pounds. As for the risks of stepping in on short notice, Masvidal says there aren’t any, as fighting Neil and Michael Bisping are bouts he’ll gladly take with no training camp.
“I know for a fact that the UFC wanted the fight and were very excited about the fight. So now you know that there is a bitch in the building and his name is Magny,” added Jorge. “I’m not saying UFC accepted 180, but when the offer came to them I know they were like, ‘Let’s do it, let’s try to make it happen.’ But this fucking coward said no.”
MMA Hour host Ariel Helwani revealed UFC is close to locking down an opponent for Magny to stay on the UFC Liverpool event, but no official word has come down. As for when Masvidal hopes to return to action, he is eyeing a comeback in July or August, and he doesn’t care against who.
Any suggestions?
