Freshly retired boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr. says President Trump’s ‘grab them by the p-ssy’ comment is how real men talk.

Last October, while still on the campaign trail for the United States presidency, Donald Trump was heard on an Access Hollywood tape boasting to Billy Bush privately about how to handle women in a pretty gross conversation. POTUS said, “Grab them by the p*ssy. You can do anything.”

Trump waved off the remarks as “locker room talk” after issuing an apology, but many prominent athletes voiced disapproval of the president’s explanation.

One athlete that didn’t seem to take umbrage with Trump’s “locker room talk” was undefeated boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr., fresh off an August 26th win over UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor. Mayweather, who has been chummy with the leader of the free world over the years, has a long history of domestic violence/abuse towards women and says the president’s comments are how a “real man” talks.

Sports Illustrated has transcribed parts of the original interview conducted by Hollywood Unlocked.

“People don’t like the truth,” Mayweather said. “He speak like a real man spoke. Real men speak like, ‘Man, she had a fat ass. You see her ass? I had to squeeze her ass. I had to grab that fat ass.’ Right? So he talking locker room talk. Locker room talk. ‘I’m the man, you know what I’m saying? You know who I am. Yeah, I grabbed her by the p-ssy. And?'”

“I feel people shy away from realness,” he added. “This man didn’t do nothing. Listen, if y’all didn’t want the man in the White House, y’all should have voted the other way. It ain’t like he went and robbed—he done his homework. He did what he had to do and he got there.”

Mayweather goes on to say that he doesn’t like to use the word “friend” to describe Trump, instead using “communicated with him,” and details why Americans should’ve voted the other way.
