Conor McGregor used to be the man that people wanted to emulate. These days, it seems to be the other way around.
There used to be a time (not too long ago) when fighters would take a page out of Conor McGregor’s book. Nowadays, it seems to be the other way around.
This one Twitter user called “The Notorious” a “Jake Paul wannabe” after the latest stunt the Irishman pulled involving Dustin Poirier’s wife Jolie.
McGregor has become a Jake Paul wannabe. Sad

A little backstory, McGregor shared a screenshot of him purportedly accepting a DM request from Mrs. Poirier, which Dustin believes to be possibly fabricated.
Now, if any of you would recall (or not), Paul pulled the same stunt a while back when he also shared a supposed DM screenshot from boxer Tommy Fury’s girlfriend, Molly-Mae Hague. Both Fury and Hague already debunked it to be a fake.
Then there’s this Instagram post and its caption. “The Problem Child” even took notice in the comments section.
The younger Paul brother is still one of the most hated figures in combat sports today. But as of late, he’s gotten a lot of shine for championing better pay for UFC fighters and helping them out himself.
As for McGregor, he’s back in vintage form as he prepares to square off with Poirier for the third time at UFC 264. Fight night is a mere sleep away.
By the way, Conor’s still at it with the DM angle. Here’s a new screen recording he put up after the presser in response to Poirier’s tweet.

He later stated that the DMs were real, contrary to what Dustin told Bisping.
Your wife wants to see the hair around my dick and balls bro. See what that’s like. It’s real the message request mate, no trash talk. Man to man, it’s fucked up! I seen your interview with Mike you think it was fake. It’s not.
