The weirdness of 2020 continues full steam ahead as it appears that former UFC double-champ Conor McGregor will step back into the squared circle to face legendary pugilist Manny Pacquiao in a boxing bout. Online gambling website SportsBetting.ag has released betting odds for this potential spectacle, labeling the eight-division world champion boxer as a lofty -1200 betting favorite. As for the adventurous MMA icon, McGregor can be scooped up with a sizable underdog value of +700.
This would be McGregor’s second time in a professional boxing match. He was a +300 betting underdog in his 2017 matchup with undefeated great Floyd Mayweather, who was only a -400 favorite at the time. Manny Pacquiao was last seen in the boxing ring last year. He was a -160 betting favorite, at 40-years-old, against a much younger +130 underdog in Keith Thurman. Manny went on to win a split decision and capture the WBA super welterweight title.
