Conor McGregor continues with his post-fight tweeting tradition, this time for UFC 236.
UFC 236 featured two interim title fights as co-headliners, with each bout delivering as expected. The main event fight between Dustin Poirier and featherweight champion Max Holloway was noteworthy in itself, with “The Diamond” being crowned as the new interim lightweight champion.
Watching from the sidelines is Conor McGregor, who once claimed then retracted his retirement and doesn’t have a fight booked just yet. But like how he has been with previous UFC fight cards, he once again gave props, this time to both Poirier and Holloway, whom he had faced and defeated in the past.
“The Notorious” also gave out his own projected scenario in terms of who Poirier will be facing next.
Amazing main event fights. How fighting should be!
Max you are insanely tough!
Please rest up now young Uce, you are a warrior head to toe!
A champion FOREVER.
Congratulations Dustin on a much deserved UFC title to your career.
It is Nate next for you like previously scheduled.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 14, 2019
UFC president Dana White already declared the winner of UFC 236’s main event fight as the next challenger for shelved champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor, however, has been angling for a rematch with “The Eagle”, whom he had also been throwing personal tirades at via Twitter.
