Conor McGregor continues with his post-fight Twitter antics, this time hitting at Rafael dos Anjos.

After racking up back-to-back losses, Rafael dos Anjos got himself back on the win column on Saturday night by defeating Kevin Lee, who was making his UFC welterweight debut. RDA’s fourth-round arm-triangle submission win had earned him praises from MMA media, one of whom even brought up the failed matchup against Conor McGregor.

So when journalist Josh Gross brought up a what-could’ve-been scenario if McGregor and dos Anjos ended up fighting as planned, “The Notorious” was quick to take a jab at the former 155-pound champion.

Another user responded to McGregor’s previous quip, which the Irishman obliged to with his own retort.

McGregor and dos Anjos were scheduled to fight at UFC 196 in March, which was supposedly for the lightweight title. Dos Anjos, who was then champion, pulled out due to a broken foot and was subsequently replaced by Nate Diaz, turning the fight into a welterweight fight. McGregor ended up losing via second-round submission.

The two were reportedly slated to face each other in Brazil in May 2018 for an interim welterweight title fight, but was deterred by McGregor’s arrest for the UFC 223 bus attack in Brooklyn.

Prior to UFC Rochester, dos Anjos expressed interest in making a one-off bout at lightweight to make the McGregor fight finally happen.
