Megan Anderson looks to piece together her first winning streak since 2017 when she fights Norma Dumont at UFC Norfolk.
Megan Anderson looks to build her first UFC winning streak at the expense of promotional newcomer Norma Dumont.
Anderson vs. Dumont is lined up for UFC Norfolk on Feb. 29. The bout was first announced on Anderson’s website.
The Australian native is coming off a first-round triangle choke submission of Zarah Fairn Dos Santos at UFC 243 in October. Anderson is 2-2 overall in her UFC career, losing a decision to Holly Holm and by submission to Felicia Spencer, while beating the aforementioned Dos Santos and getting a somewhat bizarre TKO of Cat Zingano.
Dumont, meanwhile, is an undefeated Shooto Brasil and Jungle Fight veteran with a professional record of 4-0.
Anderson (10-4) enters the fight with a huge experience edge, having more than three-times as many professional MMA bouts. Furthermore, this will be Dumont’s debut at featherweight.
UFC Norfolk takes place at Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. The event will air from top-to-bottom on ESPN+.
