Michael Bisping agrees to fight Yoel Roidmero next spring to silence a—holes who still doubt his greatness

Michael Bisping is Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion.

Like it or not.

And now that Yoel Romero smashed Chris Weidman at UFC 205 last weekend in New York City to capture the top spot in the promotion’s official light heavyweight rankings, “The Count” will have no choice but to fight him in spring 2017.

Which according to his latest “Countdown” show on SiriusXM Rush (via MMA Fighting), will result in victory, one that will finally silence all the “assholes” who try to diminish his many achievements in mixed martial arts (MMA).

His words

“He did just come back from serving a steroid suspension. And he can say whatever he wants but listen, that guy is on steroids. We all know it. It’s as simple as that. But will I fight him? Goddamn fucking right I’ll fight him. But I want very, very stringent testing throughout camp. I want him to be tested pretty much every week on a random day. If I go out there and beat Yoel Romero then you can’t deny any of my achievements. There are some assholes still out there who say, ‘he got lucky against Rockhold and he picked on an old guy against Henderson.’ I want to fight the No. 1 contender. I want to.”

Have a listen:

Head games?

Romero was expected to fight for the division title earlier this year after turning away fellow 185-pound bruiser Ronaldo Souza; however, “Soldier of God” ran into trouble with United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and found himself on the bench for six months.

And it could be another six waiting for Bisping, depending on this.
