Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
50 Cent has offered to pay Khabib Nurmagomedov 2 million dollars- the same amount as his official UFC purse (without Pay-Per-View points) to fight in Bellator.
I? think it’s wrong what the UFC is doing to Khabib, they didn’t do the same thing to McGregor. I’ll pay 2 million cash tonight if he will fight for me at Bellator. pic.twitter.com/K7QYxR4IHI

“I think it’s wrong what the UFC is doing to Khabib, they didn’t do the same thing to McGregor. I’ll pay 2 million cash tonight if he will fight for me at Bellator.”
Khabib has threatened to break his contract and leave the UFC if they cut his teammate Tukhugov. 50 Cent has made it known he would have at least one potential promotional suitor if he managed to do that, or if the UFC released him.
Insomnia
This is funny. I missed this.
Dana White was asked about a quote from a USA TODAY story that implied the UFC was also to blame for the 229 brawl.
“Dumbest quote I’ve ever heard in my life,” White said. “You’re an idiot, whoever wrote that.”
It happened to be a direct quote from Ali Abdelaziz.

Roy Nelson’s famous chin didn’t save him
Sergei Kharitonov knocks out Roy Nelson! The PRIDE FC vet (28-6, 1 NC) buries “Big Country” in the first, piling on punches en route to a vicious knee! Sergei rides a six-fight unbeaten streak; he has finished 26 of 28 wins, 23 in the first round, and 16 by knockout. #Bellator207 pic.twitter.com/8ZXNz1OLP3

This would be a great fight
UFC is currently in talks to book Megan Anderson vs. Cat Zingano at 145 pounds for UFC 232 on Dec. 29, according to multiple sources. While the fight isn’t finalized just yet, the hope is for it to serve as the backup for the Cyborg vs. Nunes title fight. https://t.co/hKspW2c2lI

This seems terrible for a fighters’ livelihood.
BREAKING: Following a one-year USADA suspension that ended last month, TUF 25 winner Jesse Taylor has been released by the UFC. Taylor received his release letter on Saturday, he tells me. Story coming to @BloodyElbow tomorrow.

This shit where the UFC holds on to a fighter’s contract until their suspension is up and then cut them is some bullshit
