Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Try as Jan Blachowicz might, Jon Jones just isn’t impressed.
Ever since Jones announced his intention to move to Heavyweight, Blachowicz has acted slightly. As Jones’ replacement as the 205-pound kingpin, Blachowicz has called several times for a fight with “Bones,” promising to knock out the longtime champion.
Today, Jones took to Twitter to respond to Blachowicz. “Hey Jan, how about you build your own legacy without talking sh*t about me,” Jones wrote. “Go out, win 10 world titles and then parade yourself as some unbelievable fighter. Someone I ran away from. Just another option for you.
“I was so afraid of Jan that I went after Francis and Stipe, legendary polish tales,” Jones continued.
Blachowicz is not in the wrong for trying to chase a high-profile title bout, but it’s hard to argue with Jones’ logic. He’s pursuing arguable the scariest fighter alive in Ngannou, the heaviest puncher in the sport. Blachowicz hits hard, sure, but he’s far more comparable to Jones’ past competition than “The Predator.”
As Daniel Cormier said, it’s absurd to think Jones is afraid of Ngannou … which makes it even sillier to believe he’s ducking “Polish Power.”
Insomnia
Dustin Poirier opted for the money fight over the title bout (no judgment here), but he’s still down to talk trash on the would-be champions.

For anyone thinking of creating a unique workout, first consider the potential consequences.
Insane speed and should mobility on this elbow!
Like it or not, fans are returning to the UFC. I will miss hearing all the cage sounds though …
Is Jake Paul the one force of nature that can unite the MMA community? Hatred of Paul has Colby Covington rooting for Ben Askren!
Colby Covington is hoping @Benaskren knocks out Jake Paul and thinks Ben Askren will beat Jake, who he calls “an embarrassment to society and the MMA & boxing world” My full interview with @ColbyCovMMA here ——> https://t.co/IuhokfYnDH pic.twitter.com/J2AscGnex5

There is no such thing as too many core conditioning videos:
Slips, rips, and KO clips
Getting low kick TKO’d just seems really, really unpleasant. It’s going to be a rough few days afterward for Naurdiev too.
Damnn. An accumulation of damage to the left leg of Ismail Naurdiev puts an end to the Brave main event. Jarrah Hussein Al-Silawi finishes the UFC vet with low kicks in R2. #BRAVECF50 pic.twitter.com/RKUpajVOC8

I don’t feel great posting this clip because my buddy gets sat down near the beginning of it, but there are some seriously great knockouts in this Strawweight highlight:
Spinning elbow out of NOWHERE!
Random Land
I didn’t even know the single kick flip in a kayak was a thing.
Midnight Music: Mom pick #2, The Killers’ Brandon Flowers covers with great George Harrison with Dhani Harrison on guitar!
Sleep well Maniacs! More martial arts madness is always on the way.
