Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Red-hot prospect, Khamzat Chimaev, has been looking for a fight. As of yesterday, it seemed he finally found one, as the stars appear to have aligned for a showdown with Neil Magny on December 19. Both men have agreed to fight, and the bout makes sense … so that’s it, right?
Chimaev likes to double-book, and Dana White doesn’t mind making exceptions for him. Based on recent exchanges between the two, it seems like Chimaev may be returning to Middleweight after his bout with Magny, as Darren Till had plenty to say after “Borz” recently brought up his name.

Trust me @KChimaev will fall before my knees, it’s not even gonna be close.

In addition to the above posts, Till made the curious decision to litter his Instagram with pictures of Chimaev, who quickly labeled Till his “biggest fan.”

Of course, Till has his own obstacles to overcome before he can deal with “Borz.” He’s set to battle Chimaev’s team mate, the top-ranked Middleweight Jack Hermansson in December. If both Chimaev and Till emerge from their December bouts victorious, the two may be given the opportunity to do more than bicker on Twitter.

Midnight Music: Legendary producer and master sampler, Madlib, proved he — or at least, his alter ego Quasimoto — can rap back in 2000 on The Unseen. He did just enough psychedelics to think spitting pitch-shifted for an entire 63-minute LP was a good idea … and he was right!
