Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Remember a couple nights ago when I said that the Diego Sanchez-Joshua Fabia-Dana White drama was just getting started? Well, it’s only grown uglier, as Sanchez’s would-be foe Donald Cerrone described “The Nightmare’s” relationship with his coach as “cult leader and lover.”
White has derided Fabia as well, and it seems the wellness guru is not going to stay quiet. In an explosive statement, Fabia accused both White and UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby of having sexual relations with female fighters.
“Why isn’t nobody talking about, that the reckoning happened, and that Dana White gets to fu*k fighters?” Fabia said during an interview with John Gibson (via LowKickMMA). “How many female fighters has he (White) has sex with? How many female fighters has Sean Shelby had sex with? This is the truth, man.
“And so, let’s just get real,” Fabia continued. “There’s a lot of dirty, ridiculousness, and if you don’t want to clean it up and address it, and do this, yeah, man — I do have to show videos. I do have to show things because nobody else has recorded anything. Nobody else has protected themselves. Nobody else protected their fighter.”
Neither White nor Shelby have responded publicly to the accusations.
Insomnia
Appeals in MMA are largely hopeless, but the New Jersey Athletic Commission is actually pretty decent, so perhaps Werdum has a chance?
Fabricio Werdum has filed an appeal of tonight’s #pflmma result with the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board, per his manager Ali Abdelaziz. PFL will send the NJSACB the footage where it appeared Renan Ferreira tapped for review.

I am reminded of Tim Boetsch’s redneck Judo. Not to say this is bad technique, but he really threw that man.

UFC 262 is just over a week away, so it seems an appropriate time to start getting hype!

David Leduc — noted Lethwei fighter — talked so much sh*t on Instagram that he’s been banned from his own sport, Myanmar, and supposedly Tiger Muay Thai/possibly Thailand. That’s impressively dumb!
Here is the official statement from the Lethwei federation declaring that Dave Leduc can no longer compete in Lethwei, be an ambassador for Lethwei or enter Myanmar. pic.twitter.com/b3AnkwRb3w

Clay Guida has his eyes set on the all-time takedown record. Of the younger generation, Merab Dvalishvili and Curtis Blaydes are likely to eventually reach such numbers.
Who wins tomorrow’s unlikely main event?
Slips, rips, and KO clips
An absolute blood bath took place in South Korea today.
This cut stoppage at MONSTER WAR 01 in South Korea. That was a lot of blood. pic.twitter.com/HmyYheRcKb

I don’t have much to add to this highlight, other than the simple fact that “Eel on Skates” is an amazing nickname.
I always feel bad for fighters who get knocked completely out cold then wake up to protest the stoppage. Obviously they are not thinking clearly … They were just unconscious!
Nice KO from earlier. Mikhail Doroshenko finishes David Khachatryan

Midnight Music: Today’s drive was a bit more punk/alternative.
Sleep well Maniacs! More martial arts madness is always on the way.
