Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Recently, Brock Lesnar managed to separate himself from the clutches of WWE and become a free agent. Immediately, options became available to the former Heavyweight kingpin. Bellator is interested in booking him opposite the legendary Fedor Emelianenko, while UFC has expressed an interest in booking Lesnar opposite Jon Jones at in a Heavyweight super fight.
Lesnar’s talks with Bellator are currently stalled, so assuming Lesnar does still want to compete, UFC is looking like the most likely option. Furthermore, former WWE wrestler and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle revealed that there is one opponent firmly on the mind of Lesnar, and it’s “Bones.”
“I know he said that he’s retired,” Angle said (transcription via TheMacLife). “The one fight he wants, and I don’t know if it’s ever going to happen, but he wants to go up against Jon Jones.
“Brock’s told me that several times, that’s who he wants… I think that might be the only way to get Brock to fight. I think he just wants Jones.”
While there’s still a chance Lesnar heads to a rival professional wrestling promotion — or simply retires with his millions in the bank — it seems that if the 43-year-old combatant is going to fight again, Jones is the most likely opponent.

Sean O’Malley is … technically correct?
An excellent step for the sport as a whole!
Sports fans annoying? Never!
Fans as individuals can be awesome, but as a whole they are meek and stupid sometimes.

I greatly appreciate Alexander Volkanovski’s ability to laugh at himself.
This is a great quote from Tyron Woodley’s coach, Din Thomas. Can “T-Wood” bring that fire next week?
Remember when Michelle Waterson was too small for Strawweight? Now she’s absolutely shredded at this weight!

Well, Tyson Nam isn’t fight anymore after his opponent injured himself cutting weight, but that doesn’t mean we cannot still appreciate his most recent knockout victory.

Almost every fighter I’ve ever met would rather get punched in the face than liver.
