Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!
Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Try as we might, celebrity boxing grows more inescapable by the hour.
Former NFL wide receiver, Chad Johnson — perhaps still better known as Chad Ochocinco all these years later — will make his own journey into the boxing ring per a report from ESPN. More specifically, Johnson will be competing on the undercard of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Logan Paul event, which is scheduled to go down on June 6, 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
At the moment, the bout is likely to be booked for either four or six three minute rounds. In addition, while there has yet to be an opponent announced, Johnson is expected to face a fellow athlete/celebrity rather than pro boxer in what will be his first crossover into the ring.
Admittedly, if the Paul brothers and other random YouTube stars are officially considered pro boxers … that does muddy the waters regarding potential foes. For whatever it’s worth, Johnson has worked his hands at Mayweather’s gym in the past during NFL off-seasons, so perhaps the controversial former Bengal can impress in his “pro” debut.
He really can’t be worse than that reggae singer at the last Jake Paul boxing match.
Insomnia
This is the level of petty/badass all fighters should aspire toward.

I hope Mike Perry joins the Diaz squad. They may not help with head movement or footwork, but some extra volume could help “Platinum!”

Rafael Fiziev does not like being ignored by Kevin Lee.
I understand why top 15 guys don’t want to fight someone outside of top 15. But don’t act like you are better and ignore the callouts. You can just say no. Soon tables will turn and this ratings will look very different Tag someone who won’t say no to the challenge

A 1-2-3 finds its target and interrupts a counter right hand — this is why “closing the door” with the left hook is so valuable!
