Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every quarantined night!

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

The Internet has not been particularly kind to Tyron Woodley in the last few days (or in general, really). Everyone has taken shots at him in the last week or so. Leon Edwards accused him of “clout-chasing” and avoiding him. Israel Adesanya scoffed off talks of a match up with the former Welterweight champ, called him broke, and led Woodley into a beef with his teammates as well. Even Kamaru Usman, who stole Woodley’s title, is advising Woodley on how to get back into the mix.

“T-Wood” isn’t having it.

Woodley took to Twitter today to clear the air with each of the men above. In the case of “Rocky,” Woodley made the very fair point that Edwards was stuck in the U.K., also calling Edwards a stepping stone anyway.

Woodley’s harshest response was reserved for Adesanya, who he argues took his comments about moving up a weight class as a personal insult for no real reason.

Finally, Woodley merely disputed Usman’s comments about taking any fight available. Woodley claims he’s accepted every fighter officially offered to him, which is all that is in his control. After all, it’s not up to Woodley to track down and fight every single athlete who sends him a mean Tweet.

Though I personally do agree with Usman’s general idea that fighting sooner than later would behoove Woodley in earning another title shot, it certainly seems like Woodley has plenty of options. All things considered, who would you like to see Woodley face next?

This might be the most Donald Cerrone statement possible.

Justin Gaethje reflects on his upcoming main event and the general UFC 249 card:

Ariel Helwani regales Daniel Cormier with the story of his first grade bully:

I cannot tell if the Instagram trash talk between Mike Perry and Darren Till is all a joke or if these two are actually ready to fight, but it’s getting real weird.

Slips, rips, and KO clips

This has to rank highly among MMA’s all-time great knockouts:

I very much enjoyed One Championship’s montage of slick defense and counters.

Body shots this loud do not feel great.

I can’t even begin to explain this one.
