Dana White, the president of the UFC, himself announced the fight and while a lot of people were really excited about the prospects, there were also those that felt that the match up was not right and that either Ronda Rousey or Holly Holm deserved the title shot against Miesha Tate. Well, like it or not, it is what it is and it is going to be Nuenes who is handed the opportunity to put her name on the title come UFC fight night 200.

Whether or not Nunes can upset tate is another question and we will have to wait and see what transpires. But you can rest assured that Nunes is no slouch and she will for sure prove to be one tough female to beat when she steps foot into the octagon.
Nunes does have some great fighting ability and skills and has attracted a lot of praise for being excellent on the ground. Furthermore, she has some really dangerous flying kicks in the locker. She is also very agile and pacey.
Tate is still the favorite but this will be her toughest challenge so far. A lot of experts still feel that Tate has the edge in the fight considering her experience and predictions are that she will emerge victorious in a back and forth decision.
One thing is for sure, Nunes will not take it sitting down.
