Tyson (50-6-0-2) will face fellow legendary heavyweight boxing champion Roy Jones Jr. (66-9) in an eight-round exhibition match, according to Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports. The event is expected to take place in California at to-be-determined date and should feature boxer vs. mixed martial arts fighters on the undercard.

Tyson has not competed professionally since a June 2005 loss to Kevin McBride. He ended his boxing career with two straight-losses. Jones Jr. has competed as recently as Feb. 2018 and is currently riding a four-fight winning streak. Jones Jr. has gone 17-6 since Tyson retired and 11-1 since Dec. 2011.
Rumors of a Tyson return have been in high gear ever since “Iron” Mike started posting training videos and showing off his jacked physique earlier this year. On Thursday, Tyson launched the “Legends Only League” to allow athletes from all sports relive their glory days.
