Professional Fighter League (PFL) continues to stumble.
Remember when PFL bought Bellator in 2023, and the promotion promised 10 Bellator Champion Series events with two title shots at a minimum on each card? That lasted for one event—the inaugural Bellator Championship Series card. Other than the first event, only one title fight has been on each card, and there have been just five events—two events were canceled with no explanation.
Bellator Bantamweight champion Patchy Mix, who was supposed to compete on Bellator Champions Series Paris against Leandro Higo, was one of the fighters who got screwed because of the canceled card.
Mix took to social media to air out his frustration.
“I’ve been training my ass off for the last half of year for nothing,” Mix wrote on Twitter. “This is frustrating in the prime of my career, and I’ve had my fight in November canceled? Then now again I’m being told I’m off January Dubai card? I am the best in the world, and I want to fight to prove it.”

Mix (20-1) has only fought once this year, which is a damn shame because he is one of the best Bantamweight fighters in the world.
The easy solution is for “No Love” to vacate his title and leave PFL so that he can prove himself in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), right? Unfortunately, he can’t because he’s locked into a hefty contract he signed late last year.
His only hope at the moment is for a potential breach of contract or for his management to convince PFL to let him go.
Mix is riding a seven-fight win streak, with five wins coming by way of finish.
