MMA hits ESPN2 this week with “MMA Live,” pre- and post-UFC 113 broadcasts

Nearly two years to the day after “MMA Live” first debuted on ESPN.com on May 15, 2008,
the weekly MMA news show this week makes its much-anticipated transition
to cable television.

Hosted by Jon Anik, UFC fighter Kenny Florian and Newark Star Ledger
combat-sports reporter Franklin McNeil, “MMA Live” airs for the first
time on ESPN late Thursday night, May 6, at 1 a.m. ET/10 p.m. PT.

But the half-hour program is just the first of three appearances for the
broadcast team on ESPN2 this week, as “MMA Live” will also host pre-
and post-UFC 113 specials live from the Bell Centre in Montreal.
