First there was one, then there were two. Now four more are in store.

If you’re curious about this umbrella picture.

A is for Andy whose leg snapped in half.
B is for Black Beast whose balls made us laugh.
C is for Conor and his meteoric rise.
D is for Diaz who was not surprised.
E is for Edmund, “head movement!” he cried.
F is for Fedor, the Last Emperor of PRIDE
G is for Georges who feared alien invasion.
H is for Holly who shocked Armbar Nation.

As always, if you are new to this series there is a classic book by Edward Gorey that “tells the tale of 26 children (each representing a letter of the alphabet) and their untimely deaths in rhyming dactylic couplets, accompanied by the author’s distinctive black and white illustrations. It is one of Edward Gorey’s best-known books, and is the most notorious amongst his roughly half-dozen mock alphabets. It has been described as a “sarcastic rebellion against a view of childhood that is sunny, idyllic, and instructive.”

To understand where we are heading take a look at the original book here.

Now in these dark days of both the world and MMA, I thought it would be fun to tell our own dark funny stories, one letter at a time.

Take care of yourself and I’ll talk to you on Monday.
