MMA SQUARED: From stars to dumpster fires, everything I’m thankful for

This is should be a holiday tradition, recapping the people who have made this column a real pleasure to create. I’m sorry that Henry Cejudo was taken out by injury because he was a favorite feature. Israel Adesanya became a champion and a star. Nate Diaz moved the needle. Colby Covington and Ben Askren flexed their unreal anti-charm and were captivating. DC is just damn fun to draw in a buttoned up polo shirt, and Jorge Masvidal pretty much carried the hearts of MMA fans both hardcore and casual through his performances both in the Octagon and on the mic.

I thought it would be fun to used this Norman Rockwell piece as a jumping off point.
