Doubling the production schedule to keep rhymes intact.
I realized that there has been a major mistake in our Gorey alphabet, I gotta give you two letters at a time to keep the rhythm of the rhyme! My apologies friends for this oversight. Let us resume:
As always, if you are new to this series there is a classic book by Edward Gorey that “tells the tale of 26 children (each representing a letter of the alphabet) and their untimely deaths in rhyming dactylic couplets, accompanied by the author’s distinctive black and white illustrations. It is one of Edward Gorey’s best-known books, and is the most notorious amongst his roughly half-dozen mock alphabets. It has been described as a “sarcastic rebellion against a view of childhood that is sunny, idyllic, and instructive.”
To understand where we are heading take a look at the original book here.
Now in these dark days of both the world and MMA, I thought it would be fun to tell our own dark funny stories, one letter at a time.
Take care of yourself and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
