It’s a sad day when a member of the combat sports community leaves under tragic circumstances.

I was sad to read about the passing of Pernell Whitaker and spent a better part of my evening watching highlight videos of his defensive moves. The videos were low res, but the moves were high level and I swear I saw one of his opponents crack a smile after pivoting 360 degrees and unloading punch after punch, none of which landed clean.
