MMA Squared: This weekend, a tribute to meaningless violence

There isn’t a ton at stake, but there are at least a half dozen reasons to watch people in a cage this weekend.

The good, the bad, and the ugly are all happening this weekend. Sometimes all in the same fight. I couldn’t even fit John Lineker into the frame, there’s so much happening. Let’s me ask you honestly, does a win or loss affect your desire to see guys like Mike Perry or Alex Oliveira? Does a win over Jon Fitch change your perspective of Rory MacDonald? Does a win for Jacare change anything about his title contender status? For me, that’s three no’s in a row, but it doesn’t change the fact that I can’t wait to watch them all go down.
