Joaquin Buckley and Cory Sandhagen set the combat world on fire last night (Sat., Oct. 10, 2020) thanks to their respective knockout wins at UFC Fight Island 5. Buckley produced perhaps one of the best knockout ever after he connected with a jumping spin kick on Impa Kasanganay, who didn’t see it coming due to the fact that he was too busy holding on to Buckley’s other leg (see it here).
Sandhagen, meanwhile, shocked Marlon Moraes with a spinning wheel kick that floored him, leading to a ground-and-pound win in round number two in the main event of the evening (highlights). Naturally, such highlights deserved praise form all over, and that’s just what they got from their colleagues on social media.
That move.

Both performances earned each combatant an extra $50,000 in post-fight bonuses and a move up the rankings. For Cory, he will likely get a shot at the 135-pound strap, while Buckley will be at the top of every signal highlight reel for weeks to come.
